The Jacquemus Le Chiquito is the bag that made the house famous — a miniature leather handbag whose provocatively small format has become one of the most recognisable silhouettes in contemporary fashion. At 12 x 9 cm, it is a study in reduction: a fully-realised structured handbag at barely a quarter of conventional scale. The Blue colourway positions the bag against Jacquemus's Mediterranean palette, consistent with the founder Simon Porte Jacquemus's ongoing references to the South of France.

The bag is constructed from smooth calfskin leather that has been carefully hand-selected — Jacquemus notes that each leather is unique, and that natural irregularities and colour variations are inherent to the material.
